Data Deletion

This page describes how you can request the deletion of your Prospex account and any data we hold about you, including the SMTP/IMAP credentials of any mailbox you connected via app password.
1. Self-service deletion (recommended)
Disconnect a mailbox
To stop Prospex from sending or reading mail through one of your inboxes:
- Sign in at app.tryprospex.com.
- Go to Settings → Integrations (or Email Accounts).
- Find the mailbox and click Disconnect.
Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials (SMTP/IMAP host, port, encrypted app password) from our database. We do not contact your mail provider; if you want to also revoke the app password at the source, do step 3 below.
Delete your full workspace
To delete your entire Prospex workspace (organization, members, campaigns, leads, mailbox credentials):
- Sign in at app.tryprospex.com.
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Danger zone.
- Click Delete workspace and confirm.
Workspace deletion cascades to all related records, including stored credentials.
2. Email request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion by email, write to cleber@esfera.studio from the email address associated with your Prospex account.
Include in your message:
- The email address of your Prospex account.
- A clear statement requesting deletion (e.g., “Please delete my Prospex account and all associated data”).
- Optionally, the specific mailbox(es) you want disconnected.
3. Revoke the app password at your mail provider
Disconnecting in Prospex removes the credentials from our database, but the app password itself is generated by your mail provider and remains valid until you revoke it there. For Gmail and Google Workspace:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.
- Find the entry named Prospex (or whatever label you gave it).
- Click Delete.
4. What we delete
Upon a verified deletion request, we permanently remove within 30 days:
- Your account profile, authentication credentials, and session data.
- Encrypted SMTP/IMAP credentials for every mailbox you connected.
- Workspace data: campaigns, sequences, leads, contacts, message templates.
- Inbox replies cached from your mailbox for sequence-pause detection.
- Usage logs and analytics tied to your account.
5. What we retain
We may retain a minimal subset of data when required by law, including:
- Financial and billing records, for tax and accounting obligations (typically 5 years under Brazilian law).
- Records necessary to comply with a legal hold or active investigation.
Retained data is access-restricted and never used for any other purpose.
6. Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days, contact us at cleber@esfera.studio.
